Privacy Policy – Bybit AI Integrations

Note: This page supplements Bybit's main Privacy Policy with additional disclosures specific to Bybit AI integrations, including plugins and connectors on third-party AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI assistants). 1. Overview

Bybit AI Integrations ("Integrations") refer to Bybit plugins, connectors, and tools available on third-party AI assistant platforms — including but not limited to ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), and other AI platforms that support MCP or plugin protocols. These Integrations allow users to query publicly available cryptocurrency market data such as prices, candlestick charts, order books, contract specifications, and funding rates, directly within their AI assistant of choice.

All Integrations operate on a read-only, no-account, no-authentication basis. They do not access, modify, or interact with any Bybit user account.

2. Data We Collect Minimal

The Integrations collect only the information necessary to respond to your market data queries:

We do not collect: names, email addresses, account credentials, financial data, or any other personal information. No authentication is required or performed.

3. How We Use This Data

To serve your request — Query parameters are transmitted to the Bybit public REST API (api.bybit.com) and the response (market data) is returned to the AI platform you are using.
To operate and monitor the service — Server logs are used for uptime monitoring, error detection, and security purposes.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or model training.

4. Data Recipients

5. Data Retention

Query parameters are not stored or logged beyond the duration of a single API request. Standard server logs (IP, timestamps, status codes) are retained for up to 90 days for operational and security purposes, after which they are deleted.

6. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, we process data under the following legal bases:

Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — to operate and secure the Plugin service.
Performance of a service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — to respond to your explicit data queries.

7. User Rights & Controls

Because the Plugin does not collect personal data beyond standard server logs, most data rights are not applicable. However, you may:

Stop using the Integration at any time by disconnecting it within your AI platform settings (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or other platforms).
Request deletion of server logs by contacting us (see Section 9). We will process requests within 30 days.
Exercise GDPR/CCPA rights — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability — via Bybit's main privacy channels.

8. Children's Privacy

The Integrations are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has used this Plugin, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
